Fall Into Reading

Today was fall into reading day. Everyone dressed up as a book character and if they had the book, you could bring it. Everyone dressed up in a cool outfit. 

                                

BMX Bike Show

Yesterday was the BMX bike show. There were guys from all over doing cool stunts on bikes and roller blades. People were screaming like crazy when they did front or back flips. People who sold 25 or more tubs of cookie dough got to stay after the show and have autographs. I think it was a cool activity. 

Camouflage Animals

For science, we made a fun camouflage project. First, we chose and cut out an animal. After that, we glued down the animal to a color pattern piece of paper and finished the pattern over the animal so it looked camouflage. Now all of the pictures are hanging out in the hallway.

                      

Grandparents Day

We had a great time with grandparents, parents and special friends!

Fish Fiesta

Our team of fish are Twinkle, Guppy and Rocky. They are tiny and look like goldfish, but they have brown and black spots. There are a lot of snails climbing on the glass. Guppy is the smallest, Twinkle is the medium one and Rocky is the biggest one.

Read Aloud

Today we finished reading "Third Grade Angels". It's about a boy named George. He wants the halo that Mrs. Sims is giving out so badly, that he's trying to be perfect. At the end, he doesn't get the halo, but someone who wasn't even trying does. She saw what George did and told Mrs. Sims, and that's what got her the halo. The moral of the story is put others before yourself.

Book Fair

Hi we're very eager to tell you that there is a book fair going on. It's through the 23-27 we hope that everyone comes. We also hope you get books of all kinds and have a great time at the book fair. Hope to see you there.
