Hello, my name is Lynda Baker, welcome to my blog! I'm a teacher at Mill Creek Elementary School in Columbia, MO. I've been teaching for many years and love every minute of each day in the classroom. I grew up in Independence MO with my parents and four sisters. I started my post high school education at William Jewel College in Liberty MO and then transferred to the University of Missouri in Columbia for my junior and senior year and post undergraduate studies. I met my husband while attending UMC and we made Columbia our home. We have two wonderful daughters named Kayla and Olivia. We also have a dog named Chella who is a yellow lab and an orange tabby cat named Gatsby. My family and I are big MIZZOU fans! We love tailgating before football games and attending basketball games.
