Biomes

We made biomes. We went to a website by using Qrafter and took a picture of one of the QR codes. Some options of some biomes were Forest, tundra, aquatic, desert and grassland. We made trioramas by taking a piece of construction paper and folding it into a triangle shape.  Then we looked up information about our biomes on the IPad's. Then we cut out animals from construction paper and made our biomes on the triangle.

Kindergarten buddies!

Last Friday we had kindergarten buddies! We had to read our kindergarten buddie a book and when we finished the book we let them pick out a book out from their classroom.  They are coming to our class on Halloween to read and do an art project.

Fun Fest

Today is the Cougar Fun Fest! The game in our class is Roller Bowler.  Some other things you may do are the raffle baskets, bounce house, face painting, hair dying, putt putt, cake walk and more!

Read Aloud

We started a new read aloud book today and it's called "The Secret of Robbers Cave". It's about three kids who go to an island called Lost Island trying to find out the old legend. We'll tell you more tomorrow!

Stu for student council

For this trimester 3 people ran for student council. But there can only be 2 though😭Stu, Quin and Gauri. Stu said "if you vote for me I will shave MU into the back of my head".  He said that because he is an Illinois fan. Stu and Quin won the election.  The first student council meeting is later this month.

Fish

We have 6 fish in our class room. The red one is named Chill, 3 Yellow fish and 3 Green fish none of the Green and Yellow fish have names.

Cursive

We just started writing in our handwriting books yesterday! We wrote in our handwriting books yesterday after Read aloud and silent reading time.The handwriting books even taught us how to hold a pencil while you are writing in your handwriting book!
