The 5th grade choir

In the 5th grade choir sang 4 songs and it was wonderful and loud.

Monday pajama day,Tuesday crazy sock day,Wednesday ugly sweaters and the Thursday hat day.

Dress like your friends day!

Today was dress like your friends day when you can have the same color or design on your clothes .

Toby and Lucy!!!!!

Today Stallone brought his new puppy's to school!  Every body got time to hold a puppy!  Lucy has broken front left leg. Toby gave lots of kisses!

Planetarium trip!

We went to Rock Bridge Planetarium and saw inside our blood and brains. We also saw how astronauts train to be in space. Then we saw constellations.

Fall Into Reading

Today was fall into reading day. Everyone dressed up as a book character and if they had the book, you could bring it. Everyone dressed up in a cool outfit. 

                                

BMX Bike Show

Yesterday was the BMX bike show. There were guys from all over doing cool stunts on bikes and roller blades. People were screaming like crazy when they did front or back flips. People who sold 25 or more tubs of cookie dough got to stay after the show and have autographs. I think it was a cool activity. 

Camouflage Animals

For science, we made a fun camouflage project. First, we chose and cut out an animal. After that, we glued down the animal to a color pattern piece of paper and finished the pattern over the animal so it looked camouflage. Now all of the pictures are hanging out in the hallway.

                      

Grandparents Day

We had a great time with grandparents, parents and special friends!

Fish Fiesta

Our team of fish are Twinkle, Guppy and Rocky. They are tiny and look like goldfish, but they have brown and black spots. There are a lot of snails climbing on the glass. Guppy is the smallest, Twinkle is the medium one and Rocky is the biggest one.

Read Aloud

Today we finished reading "Third Grade Angels". It's about a boy named George. He wants the halo that Mrs. Sims is giving out so badly, that he's trying to be perfect. At the end, he doesn't get the halo, but someone who wasn't even trying does. She saw what George did and told Mrs. Sims, and that's what got her the halo. The moral of the story is put others before yourself.

Book Fair

Hi we're very eager to tell you that there is a book fair going on. It's through the 23-27 we hope that everyone comes. We also hope you get books of all kinds and have a great time at the book fair. Hope to see you there.

(Science) Force

Our class is studying different forces and they are pushing and pulling. The whole class did different expirements. For example we made parachutes, we tested friction, we learned about gravity, we learned about air resistance and we used push pull meters to measure how far the different types of weights went when we pulled them to a number on the meter. Ajay's new fish
